If you're on a 5 lot max with the 50k combine, you can be in 1 to 5 contracts, with any combination of the permissible products available to trade, with a maximum number of 5 total contracts at a time. However, to pass you must be net profitable in EACH product traded.

That's why one has to avoid a big draw on any of the days, or the odds decrease in passing the combine, since the trader WILL have to "swing for the fences" to come out ahead.
