    My question wasnt ironic by any means. The cover just concluded after a period of high inflation stocks didnt offer any protection and I wonder why. The cliché is 'they will print money, buy stocks!' The Greenspan and Bernanke put. Apparantly that logic wasnt around in the seventies?
