They don't have to converge and it is possible for the spread to be large still at expiration. Spot and the front month do converge at expiration or there is an arbitrage opportunity.
No, I go to school in TN. I was in this trading competition the CME puts on for students and placed in the top 10% so they had a big event for all the teams.
Programming was definitely mentioned by many of the firms but not all of them said they viewed it as necessary to get a position. I...
This weekend I was at an event at the CME and several firms that sponsored it had employees and/or recruiters come to talk with us. Optiver had a guy from Harvard, Peak 6 had a guy from MIT, and there were several other firms there. Do these firms pretty much exclusively look for candidates...
If your kids are with you, shoulder press them! Unless of course they are too light for it to count or too heavy. My son is young enough (2) that he thinks it is hilarious for me to shoulder press him and do curls and Tricep extensions with him. He of course isn't very heavy though.
Has anybody here worked at UBS and care to tell me how they liked it? There are quite a few open positions in my area. My GPA is lower than I would like, but I have significantly more experience than the typical college graduate.
To add to that, it's surprising to see how many people think they are parallel, when they are actually far from it. I always thought I was parallel until I had someone record me. I believe the true definition is your hip crease must be level with the top of your knee. To me that feels plenty...
Yea, I got a 117. I skipped 1 and guessed on one trying to hurry up and finish it. I might retake it, but then the time aspect will be off, unless the questions change, so I don't know how accurate it would be.
This is a guesstimates without any fancy formulas. Just estimating so math might be off. In regular roulette the odds of a black or red landing is like 48% or so. So the house gets a few % advantage. The odds of a single number hitting is 2-3%. There are 4 R-16's so 10%...ish but the payout is...
DP, hope you don't mind me throwing in some posts on random topics occasionally.
Do any of you all train with bands or chains on some of your lifts? I haven't in awhile, but I felt it was definitely beneficial when I was shooting more for strength gains than anything.
One of my favorite...
Hmm I would say get bloodwork done to see how everything really is. That would be the best bet probably. There are several products that could help with it just depending on the specific cause.
Or just go ahead and get on TRT
Did you run Clomid by itself or with nolvadex or something else? There are other things that could also be affecting it aside from estrogen like prolactin. Not saying it isn't estrogen, but it could possibly be another component in the big picture.
Thanks for the good wishes. It isn't nearly as bad as it was anymore. I just have to be careful to not do anything with poor form or too heavy now.
I'm not sure on the long term effects of DL, but I definitely liked it prior to injury. Your whole core and everything will get so much stronger...
Well, I guess my usage of "very heavy" is all relative. It just depends on the person. I broke my L5 when I was 17 but prior to that my last set was usually 405 with 50lbs in chains for progressive resistance. I was 185lbs and 6'4" so a little more than double my weight. Nothing crazy to begin...
Use a cheap notebook to record what you do each day maybe. It is a good way to track your performance and also a good way to tell what is working and what isn't after a little time.
Here are some good motivational videos by the way:

Yea, the first run of SD(Mdrol) was amazing to put it lightly. I ran it at 10,20,20,10,30.
The weird dosage on week 4 was because I was on vacation and not working out. Seemed like a good way to do it lol. I dropped to <6% Bf by week 4 I had veins in my abs and everywhere where I got so ripped...
Hopefully I'll get back into it soon and can participate more in this! I'm in the "off" portion of training off and on. I simply don't have the time to do more than 2 days a week.
I am looking to start back once classes wrap up in May.
I typically do 5 days a week:
