If you don't use a margin account, I don't think you have the trading limit. Not 100% on that though and you do have to wait on the funds to settle. Just a thought. Nice calls by the way!

Yeah that is what I didn't understand. I assumed them being less sensitive would cause the opposite effect on margin as they are all relatively liquid. I'm assuming their method on calculating that is here to stay if they didn't accomodate you.

Absolutely none, but it's not a difficult concept to grasp. If entering your position pushes the market past acceptable risk/reward parameters or eliminates the edge by pushing price...I would consider that at max capacity and constrained to whatever size that is. Not worth the time to argue...

I am in the Jun/Dec CL position as well @ 1.49. Just a single contract though for now though, in case things keep moving further into contango.

I have a buddy that worked in logistics through mid summer at a grain company here in TN, he said the amount of distiller grains they were moving was insane. He said they were really getting put to use. I am clearly very late to respond, but just saw your post on the grain.

Some of those concepts look similar to the Venom GT Baron posted. Seems like it would have a tough time competing with some of those already out there. Why not buy the venom or the new model coming out, or Veyron, lots of options...all very far out of my price range lol

If CL goes back into backwardation, that Jun/Dec spread should pay out quite nicely I would think!

Are you planning to hold the cattle position a little longer? I like your thoughts on the potential CL spread, pending no major changes in oil news of course.

What do you all think of +feb/-apr at this point? Seems like the spread might diverge a little from here. I haven't paid much attention to the cattle spreads before, but just saw that and thought it was interesting.
