Saham.. thanks for your response. I am interested in developing a technique were I try to play breakouts... I think there is money to be made there... I will be looking to scalp and make 10-50 pips. The strategy for me is to really try to time them with eco# or news events... I noticed...

Guys... I think u misunderstood the point of this thread.. I didnt want to turn it into a broker endorsement or review. I am more interested in actual scalping techniques and methods that others use. I just want to keep things in focus.. and not get into a whole debate about brokers...

I also like to fade breakouts at key support/resistance level... especially if the break comes off an extended move w/o any fundementals behind it. When there is fundementals or event... like the greenspan heart attack and there is a breakout taken out key resistance... I u know I am not...

Dude.. u are totally wrong. Thats why chart patterns are develish. That could also be a double top or INTC establishing a trading range... u are painting the chart to look like a long term cup handle.
