    Packing and Trading

As an index futures trader, I work in a tough neighborhood. Lots of scalpers, thieves, frauds, pirates, gunslingers and stop-gunners, not to mention Chicago market makers. So for protection I carry while I'm trading. What depends on my level of paranoia. It's a slow day today, so I have only a...

    Spelling and Trading

Thanks for posting that. Your win ratio is impressive. But I am confused. If you are that fucking good, which you must be, why are you scalping and not scaling in to a longer position for bigger bucks? Also, why trading just one contract? And why YM and not ES or NQ? Sorry if that sounds stupid...

Shame on you, 6, for being nice to Jack. Now I am obliged to say something ugly to him. Hmmmmm......A trading contest challenge, perhaps? But it would have to last as long as my backtest optimization. Go for 45 days, Jack? Your palace or my Airstream?

Sorry, Jack, don't know a cam thing about damtasias. I'm still working on the trading thingie. Re mic's, I have had good luck with an inexpensive Logitech headset. But, of course, being rich, you don't care about cost. Re the premium chart, I sincerely hope scores of computer literates here...

    Spelling and Trading

I know. Being t-warted is no fun at all. But as I recall you are using Dragon speech-to-test, so you could input it to Word and run a spell check and replace and then cunt-and-paste. Then you would be sure to get your custom spelling of gaussian as guasian every time. (Glad to see you are still...

    Spelling and Trading

That is the beauty of trading. I has a language all its own, like no other. Comprised mostly of four letter words.

    Spelling and Trading

Swollenski, this is as light as I get. Spelling is a serious binness, second only to trading. I love the language so much that the slightest error grinds my teeth.

    Spelling and Trading

Insincere apologies to the spelling-challenged for scraping off this old nearly-healed scab, but the recent infestation of furriners who cain't spell for spit has enraged me anew. But this one is funny: "Bullish or beerish?"

    Classical Music while trading?

Philip Glass. Repetitive patterns endlessly repeated like the market.

    System Trading Induces Tachypsychia

If you have never experienced tachypsychia, you may not believe that it exists. I have, and therefore I do. I rolled a car once as a punk kid, was in a helicopter accident as a punk young man, and had a shotgun accidentally discharged a foot from my face as a punk middle-agester. Now as a punk...

Hawker is Here, Too, Worse than a Cockroach

Thanks. There is more than enough stupidity here to go around for all. No need for us to be led elsewhere by someone dumber than we are.

I have lost all forms of hope

Yes, yes, but how is your trading going?
  17. A

    Yes or No

No. I have devised scores, if not hundreds, of brilliant systems, almost all of which backtested with negative expectancy. Continued testing showed that the results varied randomly. I always reverse a losing system and test it. Not once have I ever found a wiener that way. The reason is that the...

Hawker is Here, Too, Worse than a Cockroach

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=189795 and http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2718705#post2718705 This guy is worse than a ten Hertz strobe light. I convulsed reading him. I mind less that he is hawking than that he is hocking up gobs of spit.

    Yes or No

The simple answer is that backtesting shows time and again that reversing a losing system still loses. The losing system was random, so also is the reversal of the losing aystem.
