    Great Idea, Next Step?

There is a saying in NLP: "The meaning of your communication is the response you get."

Thanks, don't mean to pry. Can you say what entry time you are talking about in that example. I got lost. I am backtesting, and it is 20 seconds between iterations. Not enough time for me to concentrate on what you are saying, haha!

Thanks for sharing that. Interesting that the setup you've been trading on NQ for years (as I recall) is not idiosyncratic to NQ. The closely-related systems I am trading now in NQ are based on a presumably-universal principle I just visualized late last year in a dream. They backtest...

Thanks for that chart. It says to me: "One minute is screaming down making new 20 sample lows, and there is room to go on 5 minute and 30 minute before reaching their 20 sample lows." Is that how you see it?

POLL: Has Elite Trader become the Fox "News" of trading?

It's not fair to ding ET for having shitty trading discussions. Nobody who is even pitifully successful wants to give anything away. That's why you can be sure if they're giving it away it's worthless. But if you're feeling generous, look a little higher up in the forum and help out out...

No need to beat yourself up. Learning to trade takes so long that you'll be a bloody pulp otherwise. Best enumerate what went wrong. Learn lessons from it. And end with glowing self-congratulations for what you did right. I always start my hotwash with: I got out of bed I got the computer on...

The next time you post, would you mind letting us see all of all three chart screens? I don't think you're giving anything away. Looks to me like a classic "triple-screen".

Today was a tricky day, one of those that I call "take your money" days. I went long in the AM and took my lumps quickly. From my perspective your first three trades were not informed by action at support or resistance. But the fourth trade was nice, well done!

Strategies are never stupid. Only people.

Who are advertisers trying to appeal to?

If AnyOption in their ad here thinks you have to look like this to be a trader, they haven't met any of us. On reflection, I think he looks a little queer, too. Maybe I was too hasty.

POLL: Has Elite Trader become the Fox "News" of trading?

I think he means that ET has taken a big step in the "fair and balanced" direction by presenting more politically conservative views. Coming from someone who lives in a Socialist country, that is a brave admission.

Today I Put Jack on "Ignore"

Mashy, you are breaking my heart reminding me of where I used to be. Every thread Jack contributed to, I marked to be alerted by email. Just be sure I missed nothing I searched on him every five minutes. How many reams of paper I consumed printing his posts out for parsing I cannot say. I...

Today I Put Jack on "Ignore"

Well, shut me up. One unannotated trade. You ARE Jack's stoont. You must not be a Southerner. Otherwise you would remember the aphorism: "Never mud-wrestle with a pig. The pig likes it too much."

    NDX record?

An excellent observation, Oh Rightly-Guided One. ESignal's data goes back to 11/7/90, and there were no longer down runs. The longest unbroken up run was 14 days starting 7/10/9. You have extraordinary powers of suggestion.
