    what are you paying now? most direct access firms charge 9 or 10 bucks + ecn fees, OR a flat .005 - .01 per share. SO like 50 - 60 bucks for 10k shares. of course Ameritrade is a flat 10.99 for any size but that isnt direct access.

    if you use IB you can feed the data into Quotetracker. I think the feed costs 5 or 10 bucks a mth and QT is 7 bucks a mth. How's the trading going? I'm looking at trading jpn/hk over the winter.

    Why does it seem that good traders go to futures market?

    maybe if your trading lumber..lol. ES/NQ have large limits and you see them coming from a mile away. Never had a problem. Oh and ES/NQ are only halted on limit down for minutes, so you have a chance to get flat before the close. Unlike stock halts that often stretch over hours and days.

    I uninstalled tws then installed 801 via system pg on ib website. Now it works fine. http://www.interactivebrokers.com/index.html Only problem is I've lost my settings. Anyone have a good font for IB TWS?:)
