Usually people who has never traded more than one contract would have questions like this -- they simply have not experienced the duty and responsibility that goes with the privilege of trading multi-contracts.

One correction: IB's live streaming data has no timestamp. Your charting program inserts your pc time to make your chart. IB backfill data is GMT timestamped. Your charting program makes a conversion to the time you specified (either local time or exchange time).

Read the FIRST sentence of IB's page. If you don't understand the first sentence, you shouldn't be trading.

Check out NinjaTrader too; also a C# platform, they seem to have a bigger user base. Another "Pro" preference is Neoticker. There is an auto-trade program that can convert your EasyLanguage program to their script, but I have can't recall its name off hand.

My Volume Bar charts and tick charts have a tendency to hang after a data interruption. Noticeably after the IB server reset, or ISP router reset at midnight. Minute charts seem to survive better.
