With a PE of 14.22 on SPY - A Crash is Impossible

Hyper-inflation will make the housing crisis a blip. The stock market will not crash. As a matter of fact, it will go up. But that does not mean you can "make" money with higher stock prices, because in Euro$ term, US$ will worth less than ever before.

In multicharts, use an indicator with the data of another

In multicharts, use an indicator with the data of another

Actually this is done quite often by professionals and Quants... you are in effect making a derivative of a derivative. e.g. taking a moving average of a moving average... or Bollinger Band of a Bollinger Band... Another example is the MACD, it is a derivative of the moving averages.

In multicharts, use an indicator with the data of another

YES. MultiCharts is EasyLanguage compatible. You can program it to calculate an indicator in any manner you like. In your example, simply go into the program and change the input Variable from "Close" to "RSI".

How do I get over wanting to "hit home runs?"

Put it simply: You don't know what the FK you are doing. Sorry to say it so harshly... but that's the cold hard reality. Until you recognized this truth, you would not rethink your trading method, and your trading would never improve.

GM's liabilities exceed assets by $42 billion, losing money. Why isn't it bankrupt?

just to name a couple... Corvette Pickup truck (BTW, GMC and Chev pickup combined sales exceeded Ford's. But because these identical trucks are branded separately, Ford gets to carry the title of "Best Selling Pickup truck".) there are more brand equities than these 2 example...

GM's liabilities exceed assets by $42 billion, losing money. Why isn't it bankrupt?

that's the limitation of GAAP. Some of the assets are not easily identified/quantified, therefore not recorded: e.g. -- Brand equity -- going concern -- real estate market value etc...
