    Trading with the Market Makers

Not sure why you are still thinking that MM are behaving like that, even after many posters had told you how the market making world is really working.

    IQ Feeds vs Quote Media

Ok, I see. But with API, you can have what you call 'streaming services' as well. With API, you can tell the data provider to send you, lets say, real-time data feed for a particular trading instrument. I can't speak about Quote Media but I'm using IQFeed since many years and I'm satisfied with...

    Humbled Trader

She needed things to do in order to publish her vid. So she picked trading and pole dancing. Both are sexy and trendy. Not sure about her trading, but I hope for her that she's better in trading than in pole dancing... Anyway, I don't think that making money with trading is one of her concern.

    Trading with the Market Makers

I know nothing about Forex but I'm surprised (skeptic!) that there are Market Makers in that market.

Which is better for workstation i9 OR Xeon ?

Bottom line, computer gears are nowadays overestimated. Until very recently, I was using a 2009 rig and it was still fine for my usage. If it wasn't for Win Vista, I would still using it. For many years (if not all!), it was running 24/7. Of course, I changed a few HDs during that period.

Which is better for workstation i9 OR Xeon ?

It always depends of what you're using and doing. On my trading rig, I'm using 53% of 32 Gb of RAM. I do day trading, with IB Gateway/API, with IQFeed and proprietary trading software using NN and Machine Learning algos. In parallel of my real time trading, I'm always testing others algos. My...

Which is better for workstation i9 OR Xeon ?

I tend to agree. Don't bother and go with SSDs Personally, I would go with the least expensive (i9 I presume?). Also, don't go cheap on RAM. Go with 32 Gb.

    Is bitcoin mining viable?

Really!!! Bitcoin mining would be profitable with AWS Cloud???? Bitcoin mining used to be only profitable where you could have very low infrastructure cost (electricity, storage, computer power, HVAC, etc.). But hey, CA13.99$ for a course, it's almost free if you have time to do it.

    Falling wedge

In TA, nothing is black or white. There are a lot of interpretations with TA. But to specifically answer your question, I'd say no. But who am I to say that since I'm not using TA at all...

Retail broker that can trade HTZGQ

This company is in bankruptcy. It's not up to brokers to decide which stocks are position closing only but to the listing entities.

    You wanted citations?

I don't really care who you are and who you pretend to be. I'm just saying that it's not by giving links to citations that you'll prove who you are, whoever you are. If I say I'm Bernanke, it's not by providing you links to Bernanke citations that'll prove anything. Again, I don't give a damn...

    You wanted citations?

If I say my name is Bernanke and I give you links to my citations, how the hell does that prove that I'm Bernanke???

    You wanted citations?

So, your credibility on an anonymous forum is that important for your ego, enough that you've spent time to search for publications where your name (as you say!) is mentioned!!! Whatever you say your "real name" is. Mine today is Ben Bernanke.:D

how to avoid false signals from Bollinger Bands

I don't think that the right question is 'How to avoid false signals', because they will always exist. The right question should be 'How to manage the risk for false signals'. In trading, it's not important to be right. The P&L should be at that matters.

Daily Journal With New Model (not Technical or FundamentalAnalysis)

That's why I asked what was the goal of this thread. Show the world how good he is for predicting stock price for his self esteem? He doesn't seem to seek for advice or trying to improve by receiving comments and suggestions. He doesn't seem to want to share his knowledge with the ET community...

Daily Journal With New Model (not Technical or FundamentalAnalysis)

What was the original goal of this thread again? It looks like after 100 predictions, your model is not working.
