Is 50,000$ Enough to set up a trading account to earn a full time living?

Re-read what I've wrote. Not the words, but the sense. And btw, the compounding argument is more a myth than anything else. Meaning, it works in theory, but in real life (again, I'm referring to trading here), it's another game. Again, re-read the above.

Is 50,000$ Enough to set up a trading account to earn a full time living?

Yes, but. Compounding works best for investing, less for trading, especially when you trade for a living.

Why do options have only 2 decimals?

Obviously, we don't have the same definition of 'the market'. And btw, without Market makers, there would be no option market as we know it.

Why do options have only 2 decimals?

Before going more than 2 decimals, the first step would be to go in pennies for all the names. The penny pilot program almost killed the MM model. So clearly, the market doesn't want that.

Brokers that provide access to OTC link ATS, any ?

ECNs are ATSs. But the reverse is not necessarily true. OTC trading is not for the faint of heart and newbies. Your questions (this one and all the others related to OTC and brokers offering OTC trading) tend to show that you're trying to play in the wrong field. Just my 2 cents. FWIW.

What brokers allow 24 hour stock trading? How does it work?

You're right, but remember that all traders are not located in the same time zone. That's the main reason behind this extended trading hours thing. To allow traders from Europe , Asia and Australia to trade during their regular business hours. It's not to allow traders in EST zone to trade...

GTC order not executed (not filled)

You are right about that. Although each exchange has its own set of trading rules, GTC are usually included in the opening auction process. I cannot, unless the exchange has a special case for odd lot at the opening and your order is an odd lot. Reminder that each exchange has its own set of...

GTC order not executed (not filled)

Before trying different solutions, you should try to know why your order didn't get filled. The Buy-Stop-Limit is for a specific situation. As for the 2016 thread, there aren't so much useful info. This type of topic is re-occurring at a regular interval. It shows that many 'traders' don't...

GTC order not executed (not filled)

You cannot conclude anything by looking at the OHL only. As other said, you need to look at the tape during the time your order was in the book.

    Floor traders - look out!

It's a regulatory thing. Electronic trading vs face-to-face trading (floor) are not viewed as the same for the SEC. The SEC is more liberate with floor trading than with electronic trading because floor trading (in theory) can be supervised as opposed to electronic trading.

I just need a dma broker that allow trade OTC stocks at any price. Why is so hard do find ?

Really? I'm not an expert on OTC, but I always thought that it was stocks traded NOT on a stock exchange (Over The Counter, or pink sheet is what they used to call it on trading floors).
