    noob question...wheres premium?

Not only that. You can use a Thinkback to see the option quotes for a particular date.

Anybody trading 100+ SPX options per order

ES is $25 per point, while SPX is $100 so a spread of 0.50 in ES is the same as the spread of 2.00 in SPX.

ThinkorSwim good for equities and futures trading?

I've been using TOS as my primary broker for a number of years. I trade options and futures, and ocassionally stocks. It works fine for me, I'm not scalping either.

    need an explanation

Rolling means closing out an existing position and opening a new one in a different strike and/or month. For example, you hold a long 30 call expiring in 4 days, and you want to maintain your position in a long call at the same strike. So you roll your expiring 30 call into a 30 call in the next...

    Options going long Japenese Yen

If you are asking about options then this belongs in the Options forum. ISE offers FX options and YUK is the ticker for JPY.

Is there a synthetic equivalent for this?

No, there's no way to do it. Synthetics only work with available strikes.

    Intraday Options Volume site?

If all you need is seeing which strikes have the highest volume then I don't see how a website can beat the broker's platform and data feed, unless your broker's platform is not very "good".

Trading Platform Recommendations for Merrill Pro Account

Maybe it's just me, but rather than asking a bunch of strangers, whose advice may or may not be applicable to you, why don't you ask ML about using a different platform first. They are, afterall, the best source of info on this issue (at least, at the start). Then if you are not satisfied with...

    Intraday Options Volume site?

Faster and easier!? What can be easier than typing in a ticker and instantly getting the volume for each option in the chains!? Also what's faster than real-time feed? Unless, of course, you are looking for some specific data and/or format of data, not just plain voume.
