LOL, mbusch :p TV reporting high end call girls at the ring were going for $5500/hour. That's the kind of a bill that is more easily paid with someone else's money. (maybe that could be one of the angles in the potential case). OK, I am through with the off topic.

saliva, You made me wonder so I did some internet research and found . (only because I have always considered the narrowing ascending formation outlined in my chart as a bearish wedge as, well... bearish. Technically it is a bearish wedge, no matter where it forms relative to recent price...

Spitzer and a prostitution ring? Get a load of this. CNBC just alluded to it, I put it into google and came up with this url http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/10/nyregion/10cnd-spitzer.html?ex=1362888000&en=6ed828c78d717f5b&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss

Is this a bearish wedge in the 5 min? a 50% retracement of the H and L since midnight would be a print of 1289.00

Maybe I've been too conditioned by the fake-outs, but it seems to me it would be totally natural for price to undercut 1300 and print in the 1296-1295 area. It just seems that prices (for months and months now) always seem to make just one more errant foray past support (spring) or...

help with a quote. I look at cme site, see 1331.25 for RTH close on 2/29/08. but my Trade station (5 min RTH) is showing 1335.25 close for 15 min RTH, TS showing 1335.75 close. can someone look at an intraday chart RTH from Friday (2/29/08) and give me a close (from charting package other...

one of the worst things about a pattern like this is that even if there is stealth accumulation, positioning for a shot up to 52-56 area, the possibility of a token new intraday low remains real (a spring).

these are the markets. sometimes they make sense to me and sometimes it seems like anything can happen, but more often than not, if RTH opens below S2, slow lazy bear flag can unfold mid-day, that bear flag produces another drop. today ES RTH open was at/below S2 open was 1353.50...

RE: Floor trader pivots 24hr or RTH, makes no difference, H,L & C for both periods were the same. even if ss used a 4:00 close based on 9:30 open, S2 for that would be 1361.25 as opposed to 1361.50 still confused about ss's S2 reference.

    Ditto gwac's question/observation I show S2=1361.50 R3 = 1409.00 R2 = 1399.50 R1 = 1390.00 PP = 1380.50 S1 = 1371.00 S2 = 1361.50 S3 = 1352.00 Smilingsynic, how do you calculate your Floor Trader's Pivot's. I've seen you post before and we usually have the same numbers (within a...
