    Start at 20 retire at 30 - FIRE/Robinhood

I don't think "retirement" for them means doing nothing, it means living the rest of their lives on their own terms.

Karen the Supertrader speaking at tastytrade ‘s Geeks on Parade

How did you come up with this? Were you following his journal or something?

    Start at 20 retire at 30 - FIRE/Robinhood

Couldn't agree more. However, it's a bit of a peiveledged situation where they are enjoying strong economy, longest bull market, and probably support from well to do parents. It's much easier to YOLO it.

Ross Cameron Small Account Challenge: up 100% in 4 days

I don't know if you have seen it, but Ross, in one of the videos, commented that he was about to short KRTX and saw hidden buyers on the tape and decided to pass. That's what separates experienced traders - they develop a sixth sense that cannot be easily transferred or backtested. There's...

Ross Cameron Small Account Challenge: up 100% in 4 days

I started a thread recently where another guy trading low floats but in a very different way from Ross. Excellent point.

    NASDAQ's proposal

@schizo, you Futures guys are lucky not to worry about market data :)
  16. Q

    NASDAQ's proposal

I think you misunderstood me. Currently, an active day trader trading thousands of shares per day is considered non-pro. However, average Joe trader doing a couple of trades a week through his business is treated as professional. That is not fair. You are either professional trader or not. I...

    NASDAQ's proposal

I can't read the full article, but I think it's talking about different (proprietary) data feeds, not the consolidated tape discussed in the proposal. I respect your scepticism, but I don't see any other proposals coming out. As you might have seen here on ET, people were contacted by...

    NASDAQ's proposal

I don't see how you got to this conclusion. "Albers said that a priority in the exchange’s proposals is making certain that most individuals investing their own money are not paying Professional fees. "
  19. Q

    NASDAQ's proposal

It's quite simple - I want what's fair. It would be fair for an active day trader to pay professional data fees. These fees would not be killing your trading business. However, for a guy who is trying to make it, these fees add up very quickly. If you are using LLC or Corp, not uncommon in...
