Well if anyone cares about what I think, I expect 4300 with a possible retest of gap just below. But then I am not saying I will necessarily hold till 4300, depends on price action, my interpretation of it :)

Yep, long trade is still there.

But it is so much fun to start with a small account and build it up by compounding returns, of course it can blow up if you were to hit a negative streak, but on the flip side, returns can be huge. Have you tried it?

My belief as a trader that when trading you only want to look for opportunities that potentially offer positively skewed return distribution, I wouldn’t be going long here based on my r:r model.

I know what you mean, but I see a contradiction in what you posted here and few posts prior to, when you said this is going to be the big one, surely this expectation was based on what you were/are reading in the news and not so much what you were seeing in the technicals.

I agree. Even if you were to anticipate the next move, eg price drops down to support level and you go long in anticipation of other traders looking at the same level and either going long or closing short positions and this collective action would drive price up, you would still be reacting to...

The FED’s position is clear, what are you expecting them to do? Market refused to drop having had digested the FA and technicals on weekly show a higher low and a higher high. Could it be false indication of bear phase reversal? Of course. But we must trade what we see and not question signal/s.
