In a tutorial quite a while back Linda Bradford Raschke suggested spending a week just watching the markets. Write the price down every 5 minutes. See if you don't develope a sense of where the market is trending.

I said just around the corner. :) Just the fact that driverless cars are on the road today means that you can program a car to be driven. No mention of how many crashes drivers had or how many driverless car crashes were caused by cars with drivers.

LOL!! I'm not the one who is manipulating the numbers. Projecting a 15+% return based on 2 months and adjusting it for the amount of capital employed. (I'm up 1.26% after 2 months but I'll call it 1.26% a month because I only employed 1/2 of the capital) But you are right 2 months isn't enough...

But the return on the account value is 1.26% in two months is it not? If you are managing 1MM for me then my return would have been 1.26% to date less fees. The fact that you haven't employed all my capital doesn't matter to me , only what the account is worth.

Why not start a journal of your stock picks so that you are not cluttering up the forum with a new thread every time you come up with a new pick?

Not sure what your saying. I mantain that you don't need a profit target. You let the market take you out of the trade with a trailing stop. The home runs happen because you don't take your profit too soon.

Why? just trail your original stop until you get taken out.
