After Hours Trading Question - Pic Attached

Buick may owe its survival to China ‘We’ve been given a second chance,’

I've Driven Buicks for the past 30 yrs. They ride better and are more fuel effeicent than their Asian competition. For what ever reason they don't hold their value as well.

TA can't predict that a large order will be placed now and not in 15 min, 1 hour, etc

I tried to take a screw out of the wall with a pencil. The damn thing just kept breaking. Conclusion#1: Pencils are worthless Conclusion #2: It is impossible to get a screw out of the wall. I had better start a thread warning people about pencils. They are sold everywhere and I know they...

After Hours Trading Question - Pic Attached

I wonder if it might be the specialists reporting what they did in there own accounts? I noticed both stocks mentioned gapped up this morning. Report late and there is no way for the retail trader to act on the news.

After Hours Trading Question - Pic Attached

Do you think this is posted late to hide the volume from other traders? I noticed the same thing with BMO on the Canadian exchange today.

    Can you beat buy&hold?

Yes buy and hold can be beaten easily. Use margin to trade in and out of the price fluctuations. Works especially well in a side ways market.

Those who still use T/A don't get it! :-)

TA is one tool that a trader can use. Don’t blame your tools if you can’t do the job. Maybe you are using it wrong. No one has yet given an example of where TA didn’t work.

    Entering Without A Setup ...

Enrty without a set-up? That would be deciding to enter at 10:00 am on a coin flip. I guess that could be conidered a set up.:D Are you referring to an impulse trade where you have a gut feeling or when you chase an entry after you missed a set up?

If you want to fail as a trader, study TA

Ahh but only "The Expert" knows where he is taking the thread. My question is if he is going nowhere how will we know when he gets there? Could it be we are already there and don't know it?:D We need more wisdom:cool: Maybe along the lines that if you know what you are doing you...

    A 70k bet that I can't make a 50% gain in 2009

One thing Puddles might consider is attaching the charts rather than inbedding them. Works well if you use 2 monitors as you can view the chart and read the text without flipping back and forth.

    A 70k bet that I can't make a 50% gain in 2009

You are talking to a guy that has the computer IQ just over that of a cucumber. I have no idea what my screen resolution is and am not really sure what an address bar is. The charts show up so that I have to scroll over to see all of them. The problem is that it sizes the whole page so I...
