I have to say I agree with you. Everytime I hear this or that doesn’t work I always ask why? I rarely get an answer. For every methodology you have mentioned I can show you examples of where it didn’t work. But that’s only one trade, Over a number of trades with the proper money...

The question is why don't they work?

One thing I learned about infomercials, is that if you see them 2 weeks in a row then they are effective, If the product doesn’t sell they kill the commercial. I would guess the same applies to other forms of advertising. Gotta figure if there are lots of ads out there that they are working...

Do you have a trading plan that has specific requirements to enter and exit a trade?

In reality that plan is a little too simple but a well thought out plan, with entry and exit criteria, risk control and money management strategies, is what separates the 5% from the 95%. Oldtime makes light of it but I would guess that 95% of the 5% have a trading plan that they consistently...

When you figure out Fear and Greed you'll have the Edge you need to trade successfully.

Very simple, I don’t know of any. I’ve never been to one or had one recommended by someone I trust. Very different from my experience. What I learned at university was how to pass exams. The professors for the most part were rejects from industry or academics who had never worked a day...
