    Which Charts do you use?

Depends on the time frame. Start with bars and drill down to candles. It's how I started and I'm too old to change, besides it seems to work for me.

    The secret of daytrading

That's how traders go broke never taking a loss.

My Fail. Trying to move forward.

What ever word you want to use. Price causes the indicators to move, not the other way around. I'll tell the guys that they are not comfortable.:)

My Fail. Trying to move forward.

Once he figures out that indicators are mostly a manipulation of price action to make it visually pleasing he'll be alright. I personally know a couple traders that use Stochastics crosses to earn a comfortable living. Nothing works all the time and money management and risk control have a lot...

My Fail. Trying to move forward.

You'll have to define rich. Do didn't say how many technicians you have met or how many rich traders you know.

My Fail. Trying to move forward.

How many Technician have you met? I"m not super rich but over the years I have accumulated enough capital using TA that I live a fairly comfortable lifestyle. For the most part I don't know what the companies I trade do. I rely strictly on the chart to tell what to buy, when to buy and when...

My Fail. Trying to move forward.

Buy and Hold is a trend following strategy with little or no risk control.

My Fail. Trying to move forward.

As far as I can see you didn't do anything wrong. It was a good trade with a bad outcome. You can't know what will happen next, you can only play the probabilities, take your losses and move on to the next trade. You defined your risk and had the discipline to take your stop. You won't win...

    I have a doubt

What makes a stock easier to trade? Abnormal volume with price rising signifies demand that may or may not continue.

    Malicious trolling and stalking

It gives the poster some credibility. When someone posts at the end of the day that they bought an sold something and made a pocket full of dollars although possible I don't find it probable. If you post a trade entry in real time, and later post the exit it is more probable that you might have...

    Stock Scans

Always long. Short trades are taxed differently in Canada. In a bear market I'll trade the inverse ETFs

    Stock Scans

Finvis is a great free scanning tool. I have a stockcharts subscription that I use to scan for stocks in an uptrend that are making new highs.

    Trading is easy

Trading is the one activity I know of where working harder does not result in success. Neither does positive thinking or visualization. Success comes from working smarter and discipline.

    Diversification good or bad?

Too complicated for me. :) I'll just continue to buy stocks that trend upwards and get out when the trend ends.

    Diversification good or bad?

He owns shares in about 50 different publicly traded companies and owns over 50 different privately owned companies. We have different definitions of diversification.

    Diversification good or bad?

What asset classes are you referring to? Have to admit I'm unable to come up with 4-6 liquid classes that I could invest in with limited capital. Equities, Bonds, maybe REITs (real-estate), I'm unsure what else I could put my money into that I can get out of in a hurry.

    Diversification good or bad?

No doubt Buffet is diversified. And he knows what he is doing so his comments don't apply to him. :) I still believe that diversification does not mitigate portfolio risk, it only serves to limit performance.
