That's at least a pretty rational argument even if you don't believe in bitcoin. An investment in bitcoin is like an option with no specific expiration date. Say you invest one bitcoin's worth, $6,500, you can only lose that much, and yet what is a realistic upside given a timeframe of 2 years...

But they did explain it. It's a form of diversification for portfolio fund allocation and it's hardly fair to compare a roulette bet to putting money on an emerging asset class. Yes, it's risky, but... The other thing, too, is this is a site for traders and speculation and should be able to do...

You've made many calls on bitcoin, though :) This one below from 2015 was a good one. A bounce from $190 but not a trade, but a long term hold, would have yielded quite a bit of returns.
