Comparing the "leverage" of the FDIC vs LEH vs Allstate misses a fundamental point - not all leverage is equivalent, it depends on the risk of the investment. By just looking at the ratios you are comparing apples to oranges.
If you look at the actual specs, there is nothing special about these blade systems - its the same hardware you can get from Dell or others. Just a regular WinTel platform.
Guess they are charging a premium so that you can say that you own a Cray.
I dunno for me it would be a lot easier to put on a new long position here then to initiate a new short into these lows...guess its all how you look at it though.

Yea, I'm surprised there isn't more chatter here about Citi, huge drop in the last week and definitely part of the "too big to let fail" clan.
Maybe once it hits single digits folks will start paying attention.
IMO, trying to use typical TA methodologies on a long-term prediction when there is a lot of serious bad fundamental news breaking each day is unwise.
TA may say we have bottomed but all it takes it another piece of bad news to take us down further and I see no lack of bad news in our future...
