How about you open the case and look at the drive? The S/N is printed on the drive label. AFAIK, you can't get the serial number via a USB enclosure - the interface doesn't support that type of query.

Asked and answered already - this is a paper trade as well. Don't ask me what it means to "load up" when you are paper trading, I guess that means he's using a couple extra reams of paper.
