At the end of the day Surf, he made a very very large trade that blew up in his face. No dancing around that fact. If he wasn't so margined perhaps he could have survived July/Aug. Hell...maybe he could have added near the bottom and turned it into a breakeven/winning trade. But the fact...

Thats exactly what he was trying to do....he implied a few times that VN was fine. It is/was pretty easy to know when a guy like VN is in trouble....just wait for the market to violently correct/go down and put sellers like him get clobbered. The part that is crazy is that he left himself...

It's kind of comical how Surf rips a guy like JWH who, while he has had a very rough streak, has controls in to protect himself from imploding...and idolizes a guy like VN who has blown up not once...but twice......the most amazing part is VN basically blew up this time in a very similar fashion...
