imo-it's pointless in current times.. the NEW old fashioned way is this: you program pattern or whatever you have in your head-then you manually review each signal\trigger(and it's outcome). and run your tests over and over again. if you can express what you see into a code-this ability allow...

same thing today. there is no disconnections or anything on my side. charts just stop adding bars after been open for a while(30 min?) i never used them in the past,just to quick check stocks that i'm trading. but it's pretty annoying. dunno why they stuck. anyone else having same problems...

not necessarily. i've been using a very simple semiautomatic system for decade or so .and it made money every year. there is no indicators or anything like that. simple mid school math. add,subtract,divide,multiply. that was it.
