yeah glitch..plenty of them at IB. lately some of my stock orders are rejected with some not enough margin message,while others are not. sometimes they can be submitted after second click. go figure..

that would be a TWS accout settings folder i was talking about earlier. you can simply delete it(all TWS settings will be lost) and then order is will be 1

hhhhmm..just tried it on demo..start from order id 1 on computer,where TWS just installed(880), use few id's, delete demo settings folder-start TWS-starts from 1 again. have to say-i'm using activeX, not DDE. maybe your order id's stored somehere in your application and you don't know about it?

what are you? run out of id's? :) :) :) they must be somewhere in settings folder. so the easiest solutin would be to delete accout settings folder.

2gb of ram cost like 20$ now..dual core CPU(which is more than enough for tasks you are mentioned above) cost like $40..so what this is all about? $20? :) add mobo with integrated video for 40$, 500 GB hard drive for 60$ and you are done. good enough for youtube and sims...

they are messed up with this particular pop up veeeerrry long time ago. have no idea what is the logic behind this thing. i'm having those pop ups all the time,every day on random stocks on middle of the day for very long time.
