Thanks for all the responses. It's clear to me the biggest flaw my system had was the fact that since the ES was up over 40 points at one point it was in "bias" mode. I followed my rules and all, but to see that much money left on the table was eye opening. Funniest part was I only took 3 long...

If you caught the majority of that rare 100 pt move today. My system gave me 5 pts, slightly more than my target of 2 to 3 pts. If you banged it out, care to share some vague pointers? Only intraday traders need apply.

Thanks Spec...cannot do that at this time as it is in a safe until the estate settles, however I have no reason to doubt its authenticity. Purity is another matter.

For me, at least, FA moves the market immediately. However, because I am a TA trader, I wait for the MARKET to digest that news and act accordingly. Only because I am a TA trader who makes his bank on very short term moves. They both work...depending on your time horizon.

That's odd. I find that ET is probably the most light weight websites that I frequent. If you are using Win7, try disabling active scripting. It has worked wonders for me. I'm sure that it can be disabled in Win10 but you would have to Google that procedure. Internet Options>Security...
