It makes no difference because the Republicans are in charge of the House and will very likely control the Senate after 2012, and possibly the whole enchilada unless Obama can convince voters that 10% unemployment and negative GDP is a good thing.

This guy apparently has something to sell, so he will be discredited. But I'm not sure if there was anything that he said that wasn't true. His predictions are probably a little outlandish, but I suspect that 20 years from now he'll be able to say that he was mostly right.

It's not as if there are no costs associated with moving a business to a different state. That would involve relocated hundreds, if not thousands of employees. I would think for a major company like CAT for instance, it would cost probably $50mm alone just in legal expenses to make a move...
