    Massive Deflation or Massive Inflation?

I tend to agree. I just can't see massive deflation with all of the spending. And I can't see massive inflation with the paradigm shift in spending habits that has taken place, anti-growth governmental policies and higher taxes.

Big Jumps in Taxes Loom in 10 States

Yes, if I had my way, only net income tax payers would have the right to vote. It's very frustrating to think that a wellfare recipient who has never left their couch, has a vote that is EQUAL to mine or yours. Very depressing....

Big Jumps in Taxes Loom in 10 States

It's almost time for a conservative revolution. And I'm not taling a Republican revolution, but a CONSERVATIVE revolution. Reduce spending, keep taxes low. Maybe, just maybe the electorate will figure out that the people that we put in office are corrupt and incompetent. The only problem...

Any good free or low cost stock news letters, websites, email, etc?

Curious if there are any good and cheap resources that discuss stock charts (technicals more so than fundamentals). I don't care if it's a newsletter or website. Edit to say, low cost = $25/mo and I'm looking for swing trades to longer term, not day trades... Thanks in advance....

No confidence in U.S. and British debt

True. I can't say I have a lot of confidence in US Debt personally, but obviously there are plenty that do. 5 years from now, it may be a completely different game however.

Obama denies bailout funds for automakers

I'm all for that. An instant and dramatic jump in productivity if you reform our tort laws. Cut the lawyers by two thirds and you'll see productivity in this country surge......

    How small towns increase revenues

If the police in the cities were allowed to do their job, and actually use common sense, profile, etc, you could probably reduce crime by half, with 50% of the current police force. Reduce the amount of protocols, paperwork, law suits (easier said than done), concentrate on the areas where...

Can you believe Obama said this?

Ok, so we can't talk about our President? Typical, response from an Obama kool-aid drinker. Did you listen to the video?

Only state-owned bank in the US makes nice profit

Yes, but to compare the competency of the ND state government to a federal bureaucracy is apples and oranges.

Can you believe Obama said this?

Barack is a very liberal Democrat. Of course I can believe he said this stuff. This is the standard black-democrat mantra. This guy is doing and will continue to do exactly what he has done in the past, which is govern from the left. For some reason, a lot of middle of the road voters...

    How small towns increase revenues

My guess this will be happening all over the country. Not only in smaller towns. Larger cities have budget shortfalls as well, and local politicians realize that their constituants tolerance for tax increases is very low. Stealth ways to increase revenue is the name of the game now.

Only state-owned bank in the US makes nice profit

It sounds like congress needs to pass a reactive tax on their "windfall" profits. Pelosi and Reid have likely already considered this :D

Incomes fall. Slight gain in spending due to of increase in prices.

Hey I kind of like it. Although, I can almost always guess which posts are authored by BLSH, based only on the title, at least I don't have to hunt through the websites looking for negative articles on my own. They're right here and easy to find.

    Dateline NBC

There's blame on all sides of this one, IMO. Certainly she bares blame for this, but so does the guy who sold it to her. The system was broken when the companies selling loans didn't have any skin in the game if the person stopped paying.

Reuters: Russia, China to replace dollar as reserve currency

Russia is a joke and will show itself to be so in the next 10 years. China is without a doubt more dependant on the US than we are on them. India doesn't exactly love China and are aiming to replace China's position with the US.

Ha!!! Next Bull Market for Stocks May Hinge on ‘Net Gen-ers’

I'm not so sure about that. But regardless, it's the Baby Boomers who were the first generation of ADULTS to absolutely go nuts with debt and push the no-money down, 125% LTV mortgages, refi every 6 months, 6 year car loans with 3 previous upside down loans tacked on, 12 credit cards from every...

Obama Deficits To Be Much Higher Than Expected

When has a government agency every under reported or even conservatively estimated a budget deficit? I always add 50% to whatever dollar amount comes out of a politico's mouth.

    non-compete agreements

non-competes are extremely difficult to enforce, unless you are stealing clients or customers at your new job. I wouldn't worry about it in the least.
