Short one unit from 1504.25 and a second unt from 1502.50. Took profits on one unit at 1492.75 for +11.50. Holding second unit to at least 1488. Stop loss presently at 1499.00, trailing down.

That seems like something of an oxymoron. When they go much further than expected, we call them "strong trends." When they don't, we don't. How else would you measure the "strength" of a trend then by how far its momentum propels it ... and how many S/R zones it slices through on the way?

Several fibs also in 1513-1514 area. For some reason, my R2 is 1515.17. Must be alternative ways of calculating.

Don't like price action here, so closed out add-on at a two-tick loss, and will wait for a better point to re-enter short. Still holding initial short with breakeven stop (1501.00).

Added to short here at 1497.00 BS for add-on at 1498.75 (1.75 ponts) BS for initial short still breakeven at 1501.00, but will lower it if/when ES paints below 492.50.

I will be moving my BS to breakeven shortly. If it gets picked off, no foul ... I'll just re-enter. I would rather sustain several small losses than one big loss. It's just the way my brain works. My stops get hit on 2 trades out of 3. Part of the plan. Doesn't bother me a bit. EDIT...

Now short from 1501.00 BS 1503.25 (2.25 points) PT1 1482 (19 points) PT2 1465 (36 points) Looking to add on short as the next low-risk entrypoint develops.

Went long in AH at 1483.50. Just closed out position at 1492.75 for +9.25. Preparing to go short for at least close-the-gap to 1482.

I stand corrected. I just re-did my analysis and I can definitely see Wave's scenario tomorrow (final thrust to 1502.50 followed by a sharp downmove). It's even possible that the move up will happen overnight, in which case tomorrow's RTH could bring a close-the-gap down, retest up, and big...

I agree with the latter, but I'm having a hard time seeing us get above the high at 1494.75. I'm already seeing the beginnings of RSI divergence, and I suspect we may just starting the right soulder of a H&S whose peak will be lower than the 1494.75 peak. OTOH, your batting average is damned...

Amazing call for 1490, Wave. All my indicators pointed to 1490-1 since the bottom a 1461, but prior to that they pointed higher (1496-7). How do you do it? Amzaing!!!

Thanks. 1490-1502.50 is consistent with my work showing 1496-7 as the middle of the resistance zone. Low 90s would be a good exit target for longs.

Does your model show you something special about 1490? I show resistance at 1483-4 and 1496-7. Do you expect us to get above 1483-4 before the FOMC release at 2pm or only afterwards?
