Here's my 240-tick chart that I used to track yesterday's move. <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1586608 width=600> Yesterday, I tried something I'd not done before: Trying to identify each major wave movement of the price action and draw yellow lines...

56 is the expected 50% retracement, after which more upside seems likely.

Please don't apologize. I appreciate your willingness to share. You're obviously doing your homework, something that many traders don't do. You've got nothing to apologize for.

I'm with ya. I went short at 1466.25 not long before the close of RTH and am holding this into AH.

Inefficiency as in at an excessive premium to the cash, or what?

Amazing! Didn't think it could do it, but my target of 14656.50 was hit, filled, and overshot by 3 ticks (so far). Bulls, I'm impressed! I am flat, gasping for breath after that magnificent rally, and trying to sort things out. I'm thinking I might just quit while I'm ahead. :) Saliva...

I suspect you're right. It feels like this bull is running out of gas. I'm spring-loaded to stop-and-reverse any moment now.

In what timeframe are you visualizing these waves? Any chance of posting a chart?

Mine's 1458.25, so we're pretty close. :) EDIT: Actually, I lied. Mine's 1458.75, so we differ only by one tick.

I'm actually quite concerned about Apex. Not only has he not posted to ET since 8/16 (that's almost two weeks), but he hasn't even accessed the site in lurking mode (I checked with the help desk on this), nor has he answered my PMs or emails expressing concern. I'm worried, but I hope my worry...

At 3am ET, I'm short from 1440.00, with a stop at 1441.75. Calculated target is 1422.50. If that pans out, it would be a 17-point move. Will it go that far in AH? Normally the answer would be "don't be ridiculous," but this month anything's possible.

No, but I am short. :)

With all the traders that are on vacation this week and next, 15,000 contracts in one minute is a tall order. But at this morning's low "whisker" it was >12,000.

Yes. 6 ticks. I have to be gone all day today, so I'll see you all tomorrow.
