IB provides trin for the nyse in a couple of different ways. One is as a direct quote on the TWS. The other is via their market statistics page available via their market scanning function.
I think that their Trin is incorrect. The formula is A/D all divided by advancing volume/declining...
Cash drives futures in the end...but I don't think there is much value (relatively speaking) in the SPX. Better to keep an eye on key stocks and sectors. These are what drive the SPX.

Globex has not been working. Bad thing is, they don't even know it judging from their messages. I'm now getting a quote line showing different quote and size than market depth.

Stops do not go to globex. Stop limits do go to globex. Thus if IB is down, the stop limit is still working. Sounds like you got some bad info.
