    IB Security Alert EMail

Yes, my friend, in my professional traders opinion IB's security token is 100% foolproof in terms of wiring money. No, it does not stop someone from somehow breaking into your account and making a trade. If that's your concern, then I agree with you. But it sounded like you were concerned...

    Has the Housing Market Bottomed?

LOL!LOL! The title of your thread makes the poll deceptive...if the answer to your question was "yes", you need to vote "no" in the poll. What a moron. But then, you write a post to influence someone how to vote. Good job. I doubt there is anyone bullish on housing right now...your poll...

    IB Security Alert EMail

You evidently don't understand how the security token works. If you did, you wouldn't have written what you did. I've had the security token since it was originally offered a few years ago. I don't see a single way that anyone could wire funds from your account in an unauthorized way...

Does anyone in this thread own a house?:p Just wondering. OldTrader

Starts of new U.S. homes plunged 14.6% in October

Look my friend, fewer starts and permits obviously means builders will have less revenue somewhere down the road. At the same time it means that all other things being equal, there is less on the market, and therefore is a precondition for a stabilization of prices and/or rising prices. Rising...

Starts of new U.S. homes plunged 14.6% in October

Maybe they taught economics 101 different where you went to school. Where I went to school, lower housing starts and permits means less supply. Less supply means less pressure on prices. OldTrader

If We're Going To Cut And Run, Let's Do It Now

I agree. I don't think it will happen by Christmas. But the point is there. Let's hope these lousy bastards can tidy their images up before too many of our boys are hurt. OldTrader

    Mark Steyn's Interesting Take

Not a war? Why? Because Congress did not issue a formal Declaration of War? As you know, there was an authorization to use force by Congress. There was bombing, killing, shooting, etc., in short, it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. I'd say it's a duck. So let's...

Toll CEO says speculators walking away from contracts

Just to clarify, this particular prediction by ratgirl was January 2005. The stocks went up about 70% between January of 2005 and July 2005. Between July 2005 and January 2006, they dipped slightly, came back, but in essence were still 60% higher than January 2005. At this time the stocks are...

Toll CEO says speculators walking away from contracts

Yah, you were right dumbass.LOL!LOL!LOL! Let's summarize your accomplishments here: you tell us that "sometime in the 2 years" the bubble will pop. Next, we rally 70% in the stocks. A year later we're still 60% higher. Finally, we drop back to the area we started from. You don't...

Toll CEO says speculators walking away from contracts

Let's see now, you make a prediction that real estate prices are about to collapse, perhaps 25-30%. What happens next is they rally. The stocks rally 60-70% over the next year. Then they drop back to where you made your prediction. And you want me to "admit your were right". Geezuz...

    Probable IB TWS Bug

I think usually what happens is that when the new build comes out, there are usually more downloads soon after. These downloads are to correct the problems!:D So once you downloaded that first one, you better download the rest! OldTrader

    Mark Steyn's Interesting Take

I definitely support our troops, no questions asked. I feel for these folks because they are embroiled in a thankless war caught between political factions that do nothing more than make their job more difficult. We were there in Viet Nam, and we're now their again. Do I support the...

Toll CEO says speculators walking away from contracts

I guess I made a mistake in my post ratboy. You are an idiot...I misspoke. Evidently you didn't read my post. For a guy who was completely wrong for the next year after those predictions, you sure are doing some talking, aren't you? And what's funny is that the chances are you were...

Toll CEO says speculators walking away from contracts

Cutten: You can't be "100% right" about a prediction when it rallies 70% first over the next 7 months, and is still 60% higher a year later. In fact, looking at KBH for example, it's basically a wash from January 2005. Anyone that made that prediction was wrong. Now, if you're telling...

    Mark Steyn's Interesting Take

I have 3 daughters in their 30's, all of whom are adults and make their own minds up. None of them have chosen to be in the military. None of my grandchildren are even close to the required age. And to ease any burden you or anyone else might feel, I don't require any special dispensation...

    Mark Steyn's Interesting Take

You mean other than the fact that I'm 61? Been there, done that....in Viet Nam. I was discharged after 2 years, 8 months active duty in the military in 1968. OldTrader

    Mark Steyn's Interesting Take

It's been obvious since Viet Nam that Americans essentially don't have the resolve to actually win a war. A 3 day bombing? Sure, no problem. Show a few of the brutalities of war on the evening news...and it's all over but the shouting. Look at the sissies here at ET screaming for America...

Toll CEO says speculators walking away from contracts

Ratboy: Thanks for posting some of those old posts. First though, I would like to point out that no where in the posts that you produced did I call you "idiot". Now to the housing market. To add some context here, all of the posts that you produced were from January of 2005. I was not...
