Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

As a daytrader with VERY cheap commissions why would you ever fight the trend. If you are wrong get out. The cost to get out is so low. I prefer to just make sure all of the trends are in my favor except the strongest one the daily. By having the 1 minute, 5 minute, 10 min, 15 min...

    Remote ECHO Traders

They are installing T-3's right now for the remote traders. While it has been happening they have had to put all the remote traders on just a few of Echo's other networks so they are getting backed up. Should be better than before by end of week. Robert

Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

No arguement there. This is daytrading though I'm talking about. No overnight. Enron had over a point bounce look at the daily chart when it hit bottom. In fact I remember Don/Bob were long 200,000 shares for that type of bounce. (too risky for my blood) I'm looking for...

Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

Market Makers are buyers and get shorts to cover. I'm not clear why it works on NASDAQ but I've seen the same patterns.

Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

close but my being right is is around 80%. This is due to being a lot more picky on the entry. For a long IT MUST BE POSITIVE FOR THE DAY and MARKET MUST BE POSITIVE I don't pick bottoms on bloody days. Why fight trend? That's the day to play shorts

Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

The shorts on my list tonight aren't that great and due to the selloff the # of longs are too many ( I usually have 20 and pick 4 to watch) In a few days I'll post my watch list for a day or 2. For my overbought /oversold system. It is also available through a daily email from...

Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

Hell NO!! NEVER INTRADAY!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER CATCH A FALLING SAFE Wait for the bounce. hint... (it will have to show strength for the day) by going positive which means it is above the closing price of previous day. For my overbought/oversold strategy I only go long...

    Bullets

Well said The professional firms recognize this is a completely neutral /risk free position. You are only charged margin at a professional rate(very low) and the short will usually cancel out the majority of the long part of the margin. This isn't recognized at retail firms. Robert Tharp

    Bullets

Bullets are done completely electronically and automatically expire at the end of the day without me doing anything. I don't see the bullets in my account. It is possible to hold a bullet short overnight though if I want to. If I trade the same stock over and over again I 'll do a...

    February Trading Journals

It might help if you don't think at what Price you get a bullet at. It is a hedge position. In fact I will usually get bullets premarket (NYSE doesn't have one) so there are no prices. I apologize to the others for repeating a post of what a conversion/bullet is but hadn't finished...

    Bullets

It's done completely electronically with no slippage by bullet firms. Where as if you want to trade any option that is heavily deep in the money the spreads are very illiquid. (option market makers know they will be called away and prefer to stay away) Robert

There seems to be a common element that I see on this board. The posters talk about how bad something is. Yet they have no experience with it. "Bullets aren't any good" "Trading at a professional firm is crazy" "My father's Peak Performance course is of no use" I could go on...

Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

take a look at the volume on a daily chart. Notice those multiple days down in a row than huge volume at the bottom. That is the specialist dropping his bid heavily so that he can hit stops and take as much inventory as possible to lower his cost. He can dump it a few days later since...
