Oh, that's different story then. When I was referring to "tight stops" I meant the principle of cutting the trades going against you quickly, doesn't matter with use of "hard stop" or manually.

By "keep an eye" do you mean that you would exit for a small loss manually?

Nothing wrong with fixed targets IMO, as long as you overall make money. Seeing some with bigger potential than other comes with experience, no need to force it. :)

You fail to comprehend that tight stops only have disadvantage, when your entry is flawed from the start and is not optimal. Poor entry = wide stop = high risk. Improve your entries and you will laugh at your own words about the need for wide stop.

Ya, triple tops/bottoms can be very good entries.

Sometime they do. :) I like well shaped breakouts, they can be very profitable and low risk entries.

One important note, I never intended to say that each of the setups shown should ever be taken mechanically. It's not the way to trade them. The way is (in my view) to watch them for a long time until you get a good feel for them and then take those, which look the best and are in good...
