    Inequality Figures

I think what snusk is trying to say is that you can be an non working idiot and hit it big or a hard working smart mofo and not make it big. The example you used of The Donald is a perfect example. If all it took was hard work you’d see a lot more wealth.

Do You Use Meditation\Mindfulness in Your Trading Routine? If so, how?

Lol. Sleep is important, I’m a big believer that it is more important than what we eat. But, master meditators or ones that practice it as a way of life can go with 2-3 hours of sleep and be more focused and better rested than those who sleep 8 hours. Unless you’ve practice meditation and...

That’s not how the system is set up. If everyone would be a minimalist or hold back on stupid purchases the economy would collapse. Lol

Do You Use Meditation\Mindfulness in Your Trading Routine? If so, how?

Meditation as speedo pointed out will help in every facet of life. That being said, it has to be a consistent daily practice to reap the real rewards. Which include many things, like sleep, focus, more present, gratitude, etc. Not to mention the health benefits like lower blood pressure...

Garbanzo beans, lentil with collard greens, seitan meat tacos, brown rice, broccoli etc, polenta, fruits, greens....super cheap. I know a 70 yr old raw vegan who eats like $8 a day. No medication, eye sight has gotten better, works all day.

I agree with the above. I’ve been poor, made great money and lost a fortune. Happiness is inside all of us, you just need to stop attaching to things in hopes that they make you happy. Again, the happiest most loving giving people I have ever met can’t rub two nickels together !!!

    Wealth Taxes

Points from a recent documentary I saw. The richer you are the less your money is made via labor and the more it’s made via capital. We do not know the true wealth out there as there is no way to really determine its size. 2/3 of wealth is private. The closest measure we have is the Forbes 400...

Or providing a backstop for reckless investments. I agree, if you invested your companies funds recklessly then you should not receive welfare from the poor or middle class . Same argument just in reverse.

Income inequality, highest in 50 years

The problem is “ in a decade “ that says a lot. In that time gaps widen, money has concentrated into fewer hands and just about everything we buy has outpaced the wage growth.

Income inequality, highest in 50 years

Perhaps the point is to close the gap. Which would be beneficial to all of us. The same argument can be made what’s the point of high employment when you have to work 4 jobs . 4 jobs of shitty pay is the same as zero jobs that are high paying lol.

Income inequality, highest in 50 years

The avg American doesn’t own stock. You just pointed at yet another great example how the gap is made wider. By artificially propping the market up to save the wealthy’s wealth and keeping rates artificially low to punish the savers who save the majority of the little money they have in a...

Income inequality, highest in 50 years

No I’m saying the gap is getting bigger and that was one example. Sometimes made possible by punishing savers to inflate a stock price. Not that they worked harder, smarter or anything. Peace have a beautiful day my man.

Income inequality, highest in 50 years

If the gap is getting bigger and more money is being concentrated into fewer hands. I’d wager that the opportunities are getting slimmer and harder to come by. Taking the golden age of America as an example from like the 50-70s you can see the difference. The opportunity for one person to become...
