Curious, for day vs swing trading, what's your favorite style? I use careful TA for swings, eg 2d highs, increasing range in uptrend etc... For daytrading I do as many as 110+ roundtrips daily, it's all taking shots at whatever's in motion.

I largely solved that by using sequences of OTO orders with trailing stops. Re-entries are the secret. eg buy 500 UVXY 12.05 with .08 trailing stop Buy 500 12.16 with .08 ts etc

Today started badly, I was 1k uvxy overnight, it and other inverses I was in gapped against me. I took stops on that stuff premkt. Boo. Then I bought back 1k+ early and got lucky with a big run uvxy midday, I sold all near hod and flipped green. Lesson learned, be persistent to recover...

Yeah agree, it's wonky, I am virtually all cash tonight, something feels off.... like a card trick or whatever. So cash is king for tonight. My spidey sense sez trade in the direction premarket up or down, go cash into the open, then biz as usual.
