just got hit hard again by Sugar...lost $146.00...not fun...should have known it was forming a double bottom and not short it...oh well...back to the trading drawing board!!! total loss for day $146.00 in 2 Sugar trades...

good point...can scale up on 10yr because of volume...would love to be throwing 10 cars at the 10yr...that be like $155 per tick!

I've looked and looked at this...and keep asking, why for virtually the same daytrade margin do I want to trade the 10yr that has 1/2 the tick size of 30yr and less high-low daily range?...open to thoughts on this

plenty...more than enough to daytrade the below that are on my current radar: YM Sugar CAD SF 30YR mini-Gold ....remembering that trading is a marathon and not a sprint...in it for the long haul...also, glad I didn't just go short the YM or mini-Gold at 10:00am EST 5 minutes ago :D

sure, I use a calculation of taking into consideration of of the following items: -daytrade margin -my account balance -per point value -volume-liquidity-slippage -high/low range -recent volatility-wild swings or no? -tightness of bid/ask spread ...thanks
