    Babak's Journal

Lowry's includes a chart of NYSE operating companies A/D. This excludes bond funds and preferreds. It has been in an uptrend since early March. The A/D line for all NYSE issues, including closed end bond funds and preferreds is on a much steeper ascent, as you said.

    Swing/Position Trades

The market is near or in a short term top. I lay odds on a shallow pullback of up to 885 area or a deeper pullback to the 850 area. It looks like a cyclical bull in a primary bear, but who is foolish enough to think the line is going to be straight up - save Mr. LL?

    Who's Bearish?

I don't know about Kudlow, but Cramer did a great deal of daytrading. He never ran an investment fund by taking stakes in companies, he traded issues. Also, including now he has called three bull markets since 9/21/01. Retail? Mutual funds reported almost a billion in net outflows last...

    Babak's Journal

    1) Alright, but the secular trend is still down. 2) Agreed. My shorts have a farther outlook and I am trading from the long side as well. $ is $ up or down. By on the short term pullback. Yes, but it is late in the cycle now to look long without a decent pullback at least imo. I said several...

    Babak's Journal

There are several indicators and not just a few that describe an "overbought" condition. But they do not simply describe them asmechanically overbought, they are at levels as a group consistent with with prior intermediate tops in this bear market. In fact Babak - and I - are doing exactly...
