a friend was just mentioning regional currencies to me, like the North Carolina Plenty, and Ithaca Hours. These may be an interesting sustainable community idea to look into. It could wind up an unconventional way to teach your daughter about regional commerce and community economics

it's fine. if/when the abuses can no longer be contained, the unethical politicians, high rollers and regulators who treated the taxpayer like their personal cash cow will all be strung up. only q, by the feet or the neck?

hyper, not quite, but chronic i think very much so. it's built into our monetary system if our policies don't change, i could imagine a hyperinflation down the road

our politicians have no true incentive to solve long term problems until they've blown up in our faces

it used to be that the index futs would sell from the open till about 11am, then rise from that time to the next days open. if you check it out back about 4 years it was pretty consistent on like er2 for a good amount of time.........until i tried to capitalize on it lol
