U.S. National Debt Tops $30 Trillion as Borrowing Surged Amid Pandemic

I seriously doubt anyone in Japan, other than long crude oil traders, are rooting for higher crude oil prices. Out of all industrialized countries Japan probably imports the greatest percentage.

Reverse Stock Split should be prohibited!

LOL split or reverse splits mean nothing to the valuation of someone who owned prior to either situation. Own 1000 shares @ $50 = $50,000 then after a 1/10 reverse split Own 100 shares @ $500 = $50,000

    Looking for new futures broker

:D stoopid lingo I just threw out there. Typically used as hotel advertised price. But in this case in other words the published exchange margin rate. I posted the IB reduced margin rate on previous page (30% lower as opposed to many others that are 75% lower - for daytrading).

Except they do -30% less than exchange rack rate. It's just not as "generous" as many others.

"91% Asset Plunge" of an ETF, How Exactly Does It Work?

    Looking for new futures broker

You have to stay at and above the maintenance margin level. Broker's software won't (or shouldn't if it doing due diligence) let someone's account balance get anywhere near zero.

    Looking for new futures broker

    Daytrading initial - daytrading maint. - overnight initial - overnight maint. $16,175.99 - $14,705.45 - $23,108.56 - $21,007.79 so it isn't reduced down by 75% - more like 30%. Unless you sling 10's or more likely 100's of cars at a time.

    Looking for new futures broker

AFAIK every U.S. based futures broker offers day trading margin and found the risk acceptable - and has for 20+ years that I've trade - but someone thinks they are wrong to do that. o_O

Which way? A Gold Timing exercise

Again no different. Day trader, swing trader, long term trader or investor of any length. The only exception is for those investors who don't want to think about it - set it and faaahgetit types.
