I seem to recall similar behavior with my setup a loooong time ago (20+ years) which I believe was related to sleep mode function. I don't know what the solution, if any, is.
But back then TradeStation required PC to be up and running (screens could go to sleep) to collect data 24x7 otherwise...

Price moves because it has to. Think about it.
Offer is @ 1.01, bid @ 0.99. Last price 1.01
Offer moves to 1.00. Maybe 0.99 bid goes market and buys, or someone else leaps over 0.99 bid and buys or 1.00 offer gets anxious and changes to market...
And some who bought AMZN, AAPL etc on their IPO debut are still up (and then some). Check ARKK's volume early years - like any highflyer big name hedge fund most of the big money chases the returns after word gets out.
If you are thinking long, best to wait till next week at least
I'm thinking we get a repeat tomorrow of last week's Thursday selloff not many wanting to add new longs with weekend approaching bam Friday another selloff.
