If that's true, this dude is awesome. I think it is really possible for a teen to "crack the markets". I was a lot more hard working at that time...And thinking faster too. Now the only thing left is experience but it is a valuable one.:)

    Is day trading worth it?

I don't know if we can really talk of a success. I know a lot of people around me (who know nothing about trading ) assimilate it to being borderline unemployed...LOL...You sometimes have to remind them they( most corporate people ) are just glorified salesmen and that trading is indeed a lot...

    Is day trading worth it?

Thanks for the kind words, Bone. My broker in London told me the same thing last month( that self taught traders were really rare ). A few years ago fixed income traders were able to get really stable results but they are struggling right now. Apparently the few remaining consistent traders in...

    Is day trading worth it?

FWIW I guess I am pretty much what you are talking about. Someone who has daytraded from home since day one with no industry links...I traded as a hobby through university and when I came out, I was almost making a living. I had to choose between becoming a notary and pursuing (remote) trading...

Long -1Mar Feeders/-1 May Corn/+2 Aug Live Cattle = Long the cattle feeding spread @ a margin of -10962$. There is a sort of triple bottom forming on the feeding spread and it is at the same time a GF/LE correlation play. LE crashed more than GF in the last few days.

    Live Cattle - Top ?

Hello guys, from a Fundamental point if view, do you know why Live cattle is underperforming feeders in this little "crash"? Thanks

Long Mar. '15 Feeder Spread 4-2-8

From a technical point of view, it seems the bottom is in. If you had to choose an expiry to go long the Cattle feeding spread, what would it be? I like the Mar/May/Aug one but there is perhaps a better option fundamentally...

Kind of averaged it down going long the same spread in cash settled cheese @ -0.32. Milk and cheese move in unisson but cheese is still really illiquid.

This entry was really poor. The forward curve was so appealing I didn't even look at the chart. I guess the bottom is in now but I should have taken a few more ticks near last week's bottom.
