    Which would you rather trade

Therefore, imo, the ratio (alone), which is merely a statistical data with possibly very minimum predicting value, would Not be considered a (critical) issue for decisions!?

    Which would you rather trade

A 20 cents question: Before placing an order for each trade, I would think there should be an inherited uncertainty for the gain/loss ratio (whether 3:1 or 1:1 or else) of the trade since we would not even know in advance whether the market will go south or north for the trade (if every...

Another 2 cents: Every trade is one of a kind!?

    Gaps

It depends on whether a gap of lesser than (say) 1% is a Real gap, as comparing to the daily (or else) volatility. I think it would be nice if other charts for 0.5%, 0.25 %, etc. are available for reference.

    Gaps

Somehow I thought the above statement was made to trade and predict a gap before its happening, potentially. Now it appears you may refer to trading a gap afer its happening.

    Gaps

Just 2 cents: Trading gaps would be profitable/ feasible, and risky too. I would reckon the price actions (as you mentioned) After a gap are important enough to prove its validity, some historical figures (before the gap) would be of little use, if still any.

    LouDogg's Spot Forex Trading Journal

Just 2 cents: A 10 pips stop in playing spot FX (assuming with any general platforms) would be truly precision trading, imo.

Why should we reduce trade size when losing?

Logically, imo, when the (demonstrated) probability of a pullback (or oeverbought/oversold) is relatively very high, an increase of trade size would be considered, although in a losing position.

    Flip a coin for entry

Merely a thought: I would believe Deming's systemic (i.e. totality/wholistic, instead of systematic) concept could be applicable to many things including this thread. Likely an entry should be just one of the many sub-systems in a trading system, and optimising only this entry sub-system...

Switch order execution from electronically at manually .... why ?

Highly likely a FX winner would have to devise a proper system to be suitable (i.e. acceptable) to his/her trading platform's market maker.
