I could be totally wrong about this but silver futures strength to me is all SLV ( ETF ) related today oops ... well maybe the rollover to DEC this week too is lending support to futures

looks can be deceiving unless you are a "local" down there or have access to the best information and order flow you most likely will sooner or later have an "oops" moment and find youself the only bid - offer in a back month QG :p

the ECBOT also on occasion has problems with stops etc. the same thing can happen in the pits via open outcry slippage esp during "fast markets"

its a good idea ... but I think it only makes sense during rollover periods .... I would think the market makers would not like it if anyone at anytime could offset ... minis against full size also ... if allowed at all times this could reduce volume in the CBOT metals ...

thats not such an incredible amount considering worldwide oil reserves are almost 1300 BILLION barrels my simple math calc. those tons if metric equal to 36 million barrels of oil

why dont you try trading in one of those contests where you can not only get known as a great trader but win some prize money ? one of the companies doing this is called market czar ( or something like this ) :)

you really should just focus on more than one market or stock but only if you understand how they correlate to each other and or if you find you can make money in them if not ... then stick to the market or stock or even timeframe and hours that best suits your P+L :p

this thread is a joke ... yes it is possible to make a few hundred a day starting with 2K and grow it into a much larger account but the knowledge and edge needed to do this takes yrs of work and luck too in finding the market and hours and volatility to make it work and most people will...
