looks like SLV drove silver lower today or maybe the gold - silver ratio got too narrow and somebody started to unwind some or it was just me going long SLV and having to kick it out at a loss funny ... but many times the spread on SLV is alot tighter than silver futures :p

well ... you need to have an edge ... and your account even if retail ... needs to be large enough not to force you into going "all in" just to make this arbitrary number also you cannot go into the next week saying ... "well I made 5K last week so this week 1k a day is a done deal " :p

huh ? -. At least it is very difficult to make any money going long oil, as you have to fight the $1/month roll cost. But if you short oil you get the benefit of this same $1 as a huge margin for error.- I do not think this is correct ... can you give me an example on how being short...
