something like this was attempted based on stock message boards a few yrs ago ... have no idea if it is still around but yes the idea of reading all the blogs is interesting as who the blazes cares about 90 % of the nonsense written on stock message boards :p

its funny but sometimes the spreads in silver futures are tighter AH ( after hours ) than during reg. hours and it is easier not to "chase" the market during those times but beware ... if you try to use a "stop" order slippage can on occasion be horrible on ECBOT silver and the "market...

the taxes are higher if you actively trade SLV than silver or mini silver futures but the spreads are often tighter in SLV than in futures during the 9:30 - 4 pm EST time zone

its actually a good idea ... marketingwise does not cost them too much to get some exposure and possibly new customers to their platform and company :)

ha ha ... I sold into todays bounce ... but got nervous covered at a loss ... now I see silver lower oh well ... looks like I will break even today but still up on the week 1-2 G-notes :p

what spike ? we got oversold ... sentiment was the most negative in months according to bloomberg so we bounced :p

anyway ... it has been resolved .. the answer in $$$ terms not sure if the triple - quad expiry had anything to do with this late friday but today GLG opened up almost $1 higher ... and gold price was not that much higher than friday at the time

can someone please explain to me how this was allowed ? a block hits the tape after 4 pm and it is considered the settlement price even though it was below the days low ? I do not have T+S on the close but the settlement reported seems to have been at the price of the block trade (?)...
