I think the late late selloff was overdone in gold ... maybe asia will try to gun some stops to the downside but then there should be a bounce ( esp if some of the other markets with a high correlation to gold are moving higher )

if you mean AH in equities ... why yes .. .this is tricky I sometimes find free money but the majority of my AH trading is in futures ( also tricky at times )

most of the time the gold and silver markets Asian and European trade have a smaller range than in the US time zone hours however there can be sharp movements of a few $ in gold or multi cent movement in silver overnight too

what time frame (s) do you look at when trading gold ? depending on the time frame ... gold can appear strong or weak :cool:

I am still not sure there is any "real correlation" between nat gas and crude oil but in the latest "BLOOMBERG MARKETS" magazine one of the most successful floor traders ( he is sometimes interviewed on CNBC ) claimed to have gone long NAT GAS and short CRUDE this summer ... and...

if the mr KAY in their bios is the one who worked at apple computer , HP , and xerox then I am curious what would make him want to work now with traders and why he has not retired by now

some squiggles work fine ... some others do not work so good it is interesting how sometimes they work in more than one time frame and also interesting how they can work ( or not work ) in almost anything people trade :p

do you mean nat gas or gas that cars use ? there is an ETF - USO - that tracks crude oil if gasoline ( that cars use ) rallies hard into the winter you can be sure crude oil won't be too far behind :p

if one looks at daily charts of USO or GLD for the last yr ( crude and gold ETF ) stocks one can see how trends can remain in place far longer than one might think they should

as much as I want higher prices and more than likely higher volatility in the metals unless the Euro and oil markets cooperate and move higher ... the gains in the metals will be limited next week or even retrace the higher prices seen late friday oh heck ... maybe the XAU big...

at some point in time will silver go back to below $10 ? at some point in time will silver go back above $12 ? gotta love the Volatility !!! :cool:
