there is a chance with the new rules that USO
and SLV will be back trading on Inet - Island
after hours ... or at least during the daytime
as I see their "book" now
www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601109&sid=aVeikRh0nLsc&refer=exclusive
lets see if they say the same thing next week
if we end up in the red again this week
yikes ... but what if those calls lose $2000 in that month
for the subscriber who blindly follows the "puretick" pied pipers calls ?
is he or she given back only a $1000 ? or is there a bonus pool?
this is a silly idea in my opinion ... rather your top trader (s )
should enter another...
"BRIC" --- a bunch of " yen carry trades in various currencies"
getting shmeared in asian trading
actually it might refer to some of the largest emerging markets in the world whose stock markets have been under pressure in recent weeks
gosh ... the bulls must love this "black monday" talk
for the open in asia ... US stock index futures are indicated higher
whether we end up monday up 5-10 handles or down the same number of handles ... gosh .. my tea leaves are not telling me
:p
hi geo ... I just read a comment from linda raschke ( of LBR group )that there
is a good chance we would see serious selling if we ever got back up to 1418 in cash sp500 and that this was the high for the yr ... any idea how she has been in making predictions over the yrs in the markets ?
if the "top" for yrs to come was made a week ago
then how much of a "dead cat bounce" can there be and from what levels might it occur ?
perhaps the first clue will be overnight and in trading monday
to see if the lows of late last week hold ?
if the whole world was short volatility...
I think what I meant was that if the CME +CBOT merge then
the ZG + YG will most likely be trading on the CME's ( globex )
platform ... in any case ... in the last few yrs ... we have seen
"electronic" slippage in various markets on various platforms
in various time zones
I think we are getting into "oversold" area if we are not already
but if everyone next week is still yelling "sell"
or if the "BOTS" go crAzy with sell signals or sense "blood"
in the streets from any overleveraged longs ...
looks like it was a "fakeout" in the XAU to the upside
and the commercials that bought gold in the low $600
area and scaled up selling as prices got close to $700
won this latest little skirmish with the speculators
