mr BNB you posted this the other day in answer to my query about your trades please make an effort to re type this in two columns BUYS and time of the trade + SELLS and time of the trade I only ask this because some of the columns in the execution blotter are confusing...

Bullz n Bearz ... do you mind giving us some examples how what losing trades you made and what mistakes you think you made this week maybe some of us can help you eliminate or reduce some of those bad trades ... or even tell you not to trade at this time or trade something else where...

made about 5 % this week so it was a nice one for me however many times I carry spreads on into the weekend and once in a while they open worse for me :p

by the way ... what brokers did allow trading yest in AMEX after they went down ? perhaps it would be a wise idea to have a second brokerage account at those firms in case this happens again :)

I do agree with that ... if the ECN's were allowed to continue to trade and keep an orderly market then any retail broker should have let their customers have the option to trade with the caveat that the specialist on the AMEX was not making a market in the name

no excuse .... for any trader who does not know or have funds or ability to hedge any exposure in futures for any ETF out there (i.e. SLV "halted" on AMEX ... yes it did seem like ECN's were making a market but one could have hedged in Silver or mini silver futures )

be careful ... my grandpa once bought some bonds or shares in a panama fishing company ... it either went bust or was a scam one day I will ask someone if the certificates are worth anything :p

some people like the action in crude oil there is a mini contract and also an ETF I look at them but have found the "big money" better than me there so I do not try to "game" the oil market ( also some hours the spreads are way to wide )

I usually make money in gold and silver but unless you have an edge and also realize there is "big money" pushing the metals around to squeeze the little guy including "spoofing" and "hidden" size you will probably lose money however you might want to experiment in small size...
